Gadd awarded Mildura Writers Festival residency

Writer Nick Gadd has been named the writer in residence at this year’s Mildura Writers Festival, which runs from 14-17 July.

Gadd, a blogger, essayist and author of the novel Ghostlines (Scribe), will have month-long access to a private studio in July to work on a proposed project that will ‘enhance the regional or national cultural landscape’. Gadd will also appear at the festival and host workshops for Mildura residents on ‘using place as a trigger for creative writing’.

Australian-born, New Zealand-based author Tracy Farr was awarded the inaugural festival residency in 2015. For more information visit the Mildura Writers Festival website here.
