Steinem to headline SWF

Writer, activist and feminist Gloria Steinem will be one of the headline guests at this year’s Sydney Writers’ Festival (SWF).

Appearing at an event at the Sydney Town Hall on 20 May, Steinem will discuss her 2015 memoir My Life on the Road (Black Inc.) and ‘will likely also comment on the current US Presidential elections where she has been a vocal supporter of Hilary Clinton’.

Steinem will also appear at the Brisbane Powerhouse on 15 May and a Readings event at the Melbourne Town Hall on 16 May.

The full SWF program will be released on 31 March. This year’s festival runs from 16-22 May.
