Publishing software company Typefi wins Qld Premier’s Export Award

Publishing software company Typefi has won the Small Business Award in the Queensland Premier’s Export Awards, recognising its ‘outstanding success and contribution’ to the state’s trade output.

The Sunshine Coast-based company, founded in 2001, is a provider of single-source automated publishing software, with customers that include McGraw Hill, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, Cambridge University Press and Oxford University Press. Around 90% of Typefi’s clients are international.

Typefi CEO Chandi Perera said the announcement is ‘welcome recognition of Typefi’s ongoing commitment to innovation and its drive to expand to new markets globally, including industries outside traditional publishing’.
