Man Booker: Even if you can get the shortlisted titles, will they sell?

With some titles from ‘comparatively miniscule independent presses’ on this year’s Man Booker shortlist, stocking all the books in the running has been harder than usual this year and for some booksellers, hasn’t been worth the effort. ‘I’d be better off spending by budget elsewhere, for example, buying one hundred more copies of Foal’s Bread and All That I Am,’ says Catherine Schulz from Fullers Hobart.
