McTiernan shortlisted for 2018 Irish Book Awards

Perth-based author Dervla McTiernan has been shortlisted for the Irish Book Awards.

McTiernan’s debut, The Ruin (HarperCollins), was one of six shortlisted titles in the category for Irish Independent Crime Fiction Book of the Year, and in the listeners’ choice award category, based on the audience for Irish morning radio show the Ryan Tubridy Show.

Readers can vote for their favourite books on the awards website until 23 November, and winners will be announced on 27 November.

The Irish Book Awards are sponsored by An Post, the state-owned provider of postal services, and are the biggest celebration of Irish books and authors in Ireland.
