HarperCollins to publish Ellyse Perry’s ‘Perspective’

HarperCollins will publish Australian cricketer and soccer player Ellyse Perry’s debut nonfiction book Perspective in November 2019.

HarperCollins said Perry’s ‘inspiring’ and ‘heavily illustrated’ title will feature ‘stories and reflections from her childhood and career on the themes of dreaming, belief, work, resilience, acceptance, opportunity, balance and perseverance—and their importance in everything she has achieved.’

HarperCollins publisher Helen Littleton said, ‘HarperCollins is proud to be working with Ellyse and her management, Lampoon Group, to publish an inspiring book for Ellyse’s fans that shares and celebrates the positive and empowering messages of her stellar career. In the book, there is a wonderful photo of Ellyse at age 5 confidently bowling to her big brother in their driveway—it says everything about Ellyse’s achievements and what this book is about. Belief, determination, perseverance, passion and hard work are all a part of this success story.’

Perry made her international cricket and soccer debuts for Australia when she was 16 and is the only player to have represented Australia in both cricket and soccer World Cups.

HarperCollins acquired world rights to Perspective in January this year via Perry’s manager and Lampoon Group CEO Josh White.
