The forums will provide an unmissable evening of advice and insider knowledge from a range of publishing industry experts.<\/p>\n<p>The forums are presented by the Small Press Network, Ingram Spark, Thorpe-Bowker and the Australian Society of Authors, and are supported by the Australian Booksellers Association, Queensland Writers Centre, Writers Victoria and Writers NSW.<\/p>\n<p>Each forum will kick off with a keynote address from Ingram Spark\u2019s US director <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ingramspark.com\/blog\/author\/robin-cutler\">Robin Cutler<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Then there will be panel\/Q&amp;A sessions with publishing industry experts covering crucial topics including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Identifiers, metadata and databases<\/li>\n<li>Distribution<\/li>\n<li>Industry bodies and organisations<\/li>\n<li>Publisher\/author relationships<\/li>\n<li>Print-on-demand and ebooks<\/li>\n<li>Working with publishing service providers<\/li>\n<li>Dealing with booksellers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Tickets are only $15 (or $10 for members of SPN, the ASA, ABA, or the state writers centres) and $2 from every ticket sold will be donated to the Indigenous Literacy Foundation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Event details<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Melbourne, 31 July, The Wheeler Centre, 176 Little Lonsdale St<br \/>\nBrisbane, 1 August, Auditorium 2, State Library of Queensland<br \/>\nSydney, 9 August, The Sebel Chatswood, 37 Victor St<\/p>\n<p>Tickets will go on sale soon.
