HarperCollins Announcement: John Howard to launch ‘The Lucky Culture’ by Nick Cater x

The Lucky Culture, Nick Cater’s provocative look at Australia today, has become a “barbecue stopper” in less than a week!  HarperCollins has ordered an immediate reprint of the book to capitalise on consumer demand and intense media interest in print and online, where the book’s website – www.luckyculture.com.au – is receiving thousands of hits.  Influential Australians – from Gina Rinehart to Kevin Rudd to Alan Jones – have requested copies as The Lucky Culture becomes a must read.  A review by The Hon Tony Abbott also appears in the latest edition of The Spectator, which also features the book on its cover.

Like Donald Horne’s seminal The Lucky Country four decades ago, The Lucky Culture is attracting international media interest too – with coverage in The Sunday Times and The Wall Street Journal.

The Hon John Howard will officially launch The Lucky Culture at the Art Gallery of NSW on May 8th, and Nick, a senior editor at The Australian, will be touring nationally throughout May and June and will appear on a number of television and radio programs over the next month.
