2014 NSW Premier’s History Awards: Entries Close Friday 2 May x

Entries are sought for the following categories:

  • Australian History Prize ($15,000)
  • Australian Military History Prize (commemorative medallion)
  • General History Prize ($15,000)
  • New South Wales Community and Regional History Prize ($15,000)
  • Young People’s History Prize ($15,000)
  • Multimedia History Prize ($15,000)

 

This year, the Australian Military History Prize has been introduced to commemorate the centenary of World War One. The winner will be chosen from a major published work submitted for the Australian History Prize, and no additional entry fee is required for this award.

All works must have been first published, produced, performed or made publicly available between 1 April 2013 and 31 March 2014. Authors/creators must be Australian citizens or permanent residents.

This includes Palgrave Macmillan Australia, UK and USA imprints, Bedford Freeman & Worth, and Sinauer Associates. Please send orders, return requests, and authorised returns to UBD from 1 July 2014.
