The Quarto Group to be distributed in Australia and New Zealand by Murdoch Books x

Murdoch Book are delighted to announce that they will commence representation of The Quarto Group from March 1st 2015. 

Both Quarto Publishing Group USA and Quarto Group UK will be represented together in both Australia and New Zealand.  This move incorporates all of the adult trade imprints within The Quarto Group including children’s imprints, Wide-Eyed Editions, QED, words & pictures and Walter Foster Jr.

NewSouth Books Distribution Changes x

NewSouth Books is delighted to announce it is now distributing the following publishers, effective immediately: 

  • Parkstone International – specialising in fine art books and offering a broad range of lavishly-illustrated publications on painting, photography, architecture, fashion, and religious art (previous distributor Fuse); 
  • Blue Apple Books – founded in 2003, an independent publisher dedicated to producing high quality, age-appropriate books for children (previous distributor Random House); 
  • Waterford Press – producing simplified reference guides that introduce novices to nature, science, travel and languages (rights previously held by Penguin);  
  • Thunder Bay  Press – publishing large coffee table reference books on a range of topics for more than 20 years and Canterbury Classics, a sub-imprint, publishing classic works of literature in fresh, modern formats; 
  • Visible Ink Press – publishing popular reference mega-works that inform and entertain in the areas of science, history, minority studies, and the paranormal (previous distributor Woodslane); 
  • Focus Publishing – acquired in November 2014 by Hackett Publishing Company, it has a strong commitment to independent publishing across the arts and humanities (previous distributor CoInfo); 
  • Starfish Bay Publishing – a new Australian publisher, which aims to capture children’s imagination through a range of beautiful, entertaining and thoughtful picture books.
