S&S Australia reports record year, awards news

Simon & Schuster Australia has reported a record year of sales in 2020, which were up 15% on 2019 and topped $50 million for the first time.

Byron Writers Festival has announced a new residency program, which will disburse $185,000 in residencies as well as free workshops for NSW writers and illustrators, thanks to funding from Create NSW.

In awards news, the Readings Children’s Book Prize shortlist was announced, as were the finalists for the Australian Romance Readers Association’s (ARRA) annual awards.
