Lonely Planet announces food imprint
Lonely Planet has announced a new imprint for food-themed titles, called Lonely Planet Food.
The imprint follows the launch of Lonely Planet’s recipe book series ‘From the Source’ last year, as well as a number of food-themed titles in previous years.
Lonely Planet’s Asia Pacific sales and marketing director Chris Zeiher told Books+Publishing the publisher will release six titles per year under the imprint, including From the Source: Japan and From the Source: Spain in September, and The World’s Best Superfood and a Global Beer Guide in 2017.
Zeiher said: ‘Lonely Planet Food will cover everything from street food to Michelin-starred restaurants’ and will help to bring recipes from local experts into the ‘home kitchen’.
