S&S acquires Rogers’s “The Damned”

Simon & Schuster Australia (S&S) has acquired The Damned by Matt Rogers.

Described as a “heart-pounding new thriller”, The Damned follows the author’s 2025 thriller The Forsaken and again features ex-assassin Logan Booth.

Rogers, who began self-publishing books at 19 and has since self-published over 30 novels, has been recording the writing process of creating The Damned and updating his followers each day on the themes and ideas in the book, according to the publisher.

S&S fiction publisher Anthea Bariamis said, “Matt is one the smartest – and fastest – writers I’ve ever worked with, and it’s incredible to witness so many readers connect to his characters, despite how different this fictional world is to the one we live in. It speaks not only to Matt’s writing, but to how prescient and timely this series is.”

Rogers said was “an honour to be continuing the Logan Booth Series with Anthea and the whole incredible team at Simon & Schuster”.

S&S plans to publish The Damned on 30 June.
