Cash boost and new strategy for UK public libraries

The UK Government has announced a funding boost of up to £150,000 (A$283,000) for public libraries in support of the National Year of Reading, reported the Bookseller yesterday. A further £5000 (A$9440) will be split across the 5 regional winners of this year’s British Book Awards Library of the Year....
