Melbourne Books acquires Entrecôte cookbook
Melbourne Books has acquired world rights to Entrecôte by restaurant owner Jason M Jones.
Jones is the owner of the titular Melbourne restaurant in Prahran that describes itself as ‘a renaissance of Classique French dining’. According to the publisher, Entrecôte will commemorate the history of the restaurant while providing French recipes to readers.
Jones opened his first restaurant at age 17, and has since opened another 27 eateries, including restaurants, cafes, and a fish and chip shop.
He said, ‘After ten amazing, chaotic, joy-filled years of Entrecôte, I finally felt it was time to tell the story – not just of the restaurant, but of the world we’ve built inside its walls. This book is part memoir, part love letter, part recipe book, and part beautifully curated scrapbook of moments that celebrate the art of hospitality “my way”.‘
Publisher David Tenenbaum said, ‘Melbourne Books is thrilled to be working with Jason M Jones on publishing the Entrecôte 10th Anniversary book, which will be a sumptuous representation of Jason’s talents as a writer and restaurateur.’
