PRH acquires debut Crozier novel
Penguin Random House Australia (PRH) has acquired ANZ rights to vampire romantasy Vow of Eternal Night by debut author and PRH marketing executive Lily Crozier.
PRH rights manager Sarah McDuling has sold the world rights (ex ANZ) to US-based romance publisher Entangled, with audio rights (ex ANZ) sold to Recorded Books for a coordinated print and audio release.
Inspired by Beauty and the Beast, Vow of Eternal Night is a gothic, slow-burn, enemies-to-lovers romantasy that follows Clara, who is abducted and forced into a betrothal with vampire Raleigh. She must lift the vampire’s curse before a year is up, or risk becoming his bride forever.
Sydney-based Crozier was born in London into a family of book collectors, said the publisher. A bookseller turned BookToker and publicist, she has a Bachelor of Asia-Pacific Studies and a Master in Publishing.
McDuling said, “This book is like a blend of all my favourite things – humour, whimsy, gothic vibes, and epic romance. If Beauty and the Beast and Howl’s Moving Castle were to have a vampire baby – it would be this book!”
PRH plans to publish Vow of Eternal Night simultaneously in March 2026.
