A ‘spectacular’ year for Hachette, says Edwards

Reporting its full-year results, Hachette Livre's parent company Lagardere said its ‘books segment enjoyed a year of solid growth,' raising sales by 20% overall in 2006, from €1.64 billion (A$2.6 billion) to €1.97 billion (A$3.12 billion). Locally, managing director Malcolm Edwards said Hachette Livre Australia had ‘had a spectacular result.'...
