Coy promoted at Collins Booksellers

Collins Booksellers has announced that Alisa Coy has been promoted to the role of national franchise manager.

Coy will begin in the role on 29 October and will report to chief operations officer John Preston. Coy replaces Lucie Pepeyan, who finished in the role at the end of August. As previously reported by Bookseller+Publisher, the role of national franchise manager was created in early 2011.

Coy joined Collins in October 2011 in the role of office manager, after working in the role of member services coordinator at the Australian Booksellers Association. Collins CEO Daniel Jordon said in a statement that Coy has more than 12 years experience in the book industry. ‘In this time Alisa has worked extensively in retail management and field support with both Angus & Robertson and Whitcoulls,’ said Jordon.
