‘Seating Arrangements’ wins 2012 Dylan Thomas Prize

Maggie Shipstead has won the £30,000 (A$45,800) 2012 Dylan Thomas Prize for her debut novel Seating Arrangements. The Guardian reports that Shipstead was one of novelist Zadie Smith’s first students at the Iowa Writers’ Workshop.
