ABA Nielsen BookData Booksellers Choice Award shortlist announced

The shortlist for this year’s Australian Booksellers Association (ABA) Nielsen BookData Booksellers Choice Award has been announced.

The shortlisted titles are:

  • The Light between Oceans (M L Stedman, Vintage)
  • QF32 (Richard de Crespigny, Pan Macmillan)
  • The Essential Leunig: Cartoons from a Winding Path (Michael Leunig, Viking)
  • The 26-Storey Treehouse (Andy Griffiths & Terry Denton, Pan)
  • The Secret Keeper (Kate Morton, A&U).

 

ABA members will now have the opportunity to vote for their favourite shortlisted title. The winner will be announced during the ABA conference on 16 June in Adelaide.

The award recognises Australian new-release titles that booksellers most enjoyed reading, marketing and handselling during the past year. Last year’s award was presented to All That I Am by Anna Funder (Penguin).
