Microsoft offers to buy Nook Media, according to ‘TechCrunch’ report

In the US, TechCrunch has reported that Microsoft is offering to pay Barnes & Noble US$1 billion (approximately A$1 billion) to purchase the digital assets of its Nook Media division. Microsoft is already an investor in the division, which includes ebooks, Nook ereaders and tablets, as well as college stores....
