YA book-discovery startup wins Publishing Hackathon

A young adult book-discovery platform called Evoke has won the inaugural Publishing Hackathon, a software development contest held in New York in May, reports DigitalBookWorld. The Evoke team, which includes Lisa Maione, Jason Pearson and Jill Axline, created a website that allows users to discover YA literature through characters and browse books by emotion....
