British novelist Sarah Hall has won the 2013 BBC National Short Story Award for her story ‘Mrs Fox’. Hall, whose novels have previously won the Commonwealth Writers Prize and been nominated for the Man Booker Prize, will receive a cash prize of £15,000 (A$25,263).
