‘Two Left Feet’ app wins Australian Mobile Award

An app that uses 3D animation to transform Bloomsbury’s children’s book Two Left Feet into a ‘modern-day pop-up book’ has won two awards at the 2013 Australian Mobile Awards. The Two Left Feet app, which is based on the picture book of the same name by Adam Stower, won awards in the Best New Service or Application and Children & Early Childhood Development categories. As previously reported by Books+Publishing, the app was created by Australian animation company Resin in collaboration with Bloomsbury. Characters and scenes from the book are brought to life when app users point their device’s camera at the book’s pages.
