Polare closes 20 bookstores in Belgium and the Netherlands

Bookstore chain Polare, which operates over 30 stores in Belgium and Netherlands, has announced that it will ‘temporarily’ shut 20 of its Selexyz and De Slegte stores following a ‘strategic reorganisation’, reports NL Times. The book chain has been suffering from credit problems, with Dutch book distributor Centraal Boekhuis (CB) terminating its stock flow to Polare stores...
