Hungary’s largest bookselling chain merges with online bookseller

Hungary’s largest bookselling chain Libri has merged with local retailer Shopline, ‘owner of the country’s answer to Amazon, Bookline.hu’, reports Publishing Perspectives. The merged business was approved by the Hungarian Competition Authority late last year and, according to Publishing Perspectives, ‘is expected to dominate Hungarian bookselling, both online and off’....
