New website, membership program for Text

Text Publishing has launched a new ‘responsive design’ website and membership program.

Digital manager Michelle Calligaro told Books+Publishing that the website has been designed to be ‘really mobile friendly’.

‘Before we created the design we looked at the analytics and it showed that visits from mobile devices had grown quickly over the last couple of years,’ said Calligaro. ‘The design team at Icelab has shaped every page beautifully to be easily read and navigated across all platforms.’

Some of the website’s new features include the option to purchase electronic gift cards and receive free gift-wrapping.

The website also invites users to join a new Text membership program for access to members-only offers, invites to events and ‘the ability to create book wishlists’.

‘The Text Classics series has really made readers more aware of who we are, and the [membership] program makes it easy for them to connect with us directly,’ said Calligaro.
