Manuscript Assessor Conference kicks off

The inaugural two-day Writers Victoria Manuscript Assessor Conference kicks off today in Melbourne.
The conference, which is open to emerging and established assessors, will host discussions on the best practice, professional development, pay rates, ethics and the future of manuscript assessment. It will feature manuscript assessor Jennifer Scoullar in conversation with Clare Allan-Kamil, and a panel with Penguin editor Michelle Madden, Text senior editor Mandy Brett and Sleepers editorial director Louise Swinn.
Participants are being encouraged to tweet using the hashtag #msassessment.
