Centum Books and Sainsbury’s to develop exclusive children’s list

In the UK, Centum Books has partnered with Sainsbury’s to develop an exclusive range of children’s titles over a three-year period, reports the Bookseller. The publisher and retailer will develop a range of books aimed at children from birth to seven years, and is aiming to bring out 150-180 books in the next 12 months. A spokesperson for Sainsbury’s said the new imprint, to be called Centum Publishing, will ‘consolidate and build on the success Sainsbury’s has experienced with the programme of own-brand titles that is currently selected from a range of UK publishers’. The first titles will be published in September 2015.
