Bestsellers this week

Richard Flanagan’s Man Booker Prize-winning Narrow Road to the Deep North (Vintage) has climbed back up the bestsellers chart. The $32.95 trade paperback edition is the week’s fastest mover, climbing up to ninth spot on the overall bestsellers chart, while the $19.95 B-format paperback is the week’s third highest new entry. Other Australian titles to feature in the charts this week include Peter Carey’s latest novel Amnesia (Hamish Hamilton), which is the fifth highest new entry; former Prime Minister Julia Gillard’s memoir My Story (Knopf), which is in eighth spot overall; and former ‘Sunrise’ producer Adam Boland’s memoir Brekky Central, which is among the week’s fastest movers. At the top of the bestsellers chart is the film-tie in edition of Gone Girl (Gillian Flynn, Hachette)—Books+Publishing.
