Audible launches free audiobook promotion on its Australian store

Amazon-owned audiobook retailer Audible has launched a promotion on its Australian website offering a free audiobook collection.

The audible.com.au site, which went live on 15 January, is offering the free bundled audiobook #ListenUp Collection, published by Audible Studios, which contains The Family Law (Benjamin Law, narrated by Benjamin Law), My Brilliant Career (Miles Franklin, narrated by Carrie Bickmore) and The Rosie Project (Graeme Simsion, narrated by Dan O’Grady). You Have to F**king Eat (narrated by Dave Hughes) will be added to the collection from 21 November.

If a customer already has an Audible US membership, they must transfer their membership to the Australian store to access the #ListenUp offer. New customers who sign up for a 30-day trial membership are offered an additional audiobook for free.

‘We are excited to offer Australians the chance to experience a new form of audio entertainment with such a great list of Australian authors and narrators for free,’ said Audible EVP of international operations Will Lopes in a statement.
