Brisbane Airport offers Brisbane-related books to G20 delegates

Brisbane Airport Corporation has selected 20 books about Brisbane and by Brisbane authors that will be displayed in the departure lounge for G20 delegates and media to take home, reports 612 ABC Brisbane.

The titles are:

  • He Died with a Felafel in His Hand by John Birmingham
  • The Flying Orchestra by Clare McFadden
  • Squish Rabbit by Kate Battersby
  • The Tale of Kangaroo Point by Rec Pearson
  • Earth hour by David Malouf
  • Acro One-To-One Photography by Melly Nio
  • The Shifting Fog by Kate Moreton
  • Two Wolves by Tristan Banks
  • Zigzag Street by Nick Earls

612 ABC Brisbane used social media to compile the list of titles for the Brisbane Airport Corporation’s gift.

As previously reported by Books+Publishing, Avid Reader Bookshop is offering world leaders attending the G20 Summit a collection of free books that ‘cover current issues such as the economics of global warming, accounting, community development, gender bias, science and the futility of war’, with the proviso that they must pick the books up from the store in person.
