Curtis Brown launches online book group
In the UK, literary agency Curtis Brown is launching an online book group that offers readers a chance to read pre-publication books from the agency’s ‘most exciting new and undiscovered authors’, reports the Bookseller. The agency is currently inviting applications for the book group, which will be initially capped at 40 people, with the successful applicants to receive two books ‘up to six weeks in advance of publication’ each month. The book group will be held online, and will include a live Q&A session with the book’s author and agent.
