Halpin wins new award for book ‘with a Jewish theme’

Ross Halpin has won the inaugural Rosalind Sharbanee Meyer Writers Award.
The award, worth $1000, is planned to be an annual prize for books ‘with a Jewish theme’ published by the Sydney Jewish Museum.
Halpin won the award for this book The Essence of Survival: How Jewish doctors survived Auschwitz.
