Arthur launches arts agency JAM PR

Former Hachette campaign manager Jaki Arthur is launching a new Sydney-based arts agency.

Arthur told Books+Publishing that Jaki Arthur Management + PR (JAM PR) will offer services such as books and arts publicity; workshops, including market development skills for writers; event publicity and management; marketing and publicity consultancy; and ‘out of season’ publicity management for authors.

Arthur said she has four clients already on board, including Leading Edge’s 2015 Indie Book Awards, and will be joined at the agency by former Hachette publicist Alice Wood.

Arthur said that early feedback from the industry has been ‘incredible’, and that she will hold a small launch for Sydney-based media and industry later this month.
