Ashurst Business Literature Prize shortlist announced

The shortlist for the 2014 Ashurst Business Literature Prize has been announced.

The shortlisted titles are:

  • Twiggy: The High Stakes Life of Andrew Forrest (Andrew Burrell, Black Inc.)
  • Stop the Presses: How Greed, Incompetence (and the Internet) Wrecked Fairfax (Ben Hills, ABC Books)
  • Kerry Stokes: Self-Made Man (Margaret Simons, Penguin)
  • Rupert Murdoch: A Reassessment (Rodney Tiffen, NewSouth).


The winner of the $30,000 prize will be announced on 4 March.

Ashurst vice-chairman Mary Padbury said in a statement, ‘The works shortlisted for the 2014 Prize are about well-known key business leaders whose careers are of great interest to the Australian public.
