Carnegie, Greenaway 2015 medal longlists announced

The longlists for the 2015 Carnegie and Kate Greenaway medals, presented by the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals (CILIP) in the UK, have been announced. Australian author Shaun Tan’s Rules of Summer (Lothian) is among the 20 titles longlisted for the Kate Greenaway Medal, presented for distinguished illustration in children’s books. Twenty titles were also longlisted for the Carnegie Medal, presented to the writer of an outstanding children’s book.
