RiP Ian Bedford

Australian author Ian Bedford has died, aged 76.
Bedford had a long career as an anthropologist and writer. His works include the novels The Shell of the Old (Rigby), A View from the Bund and The Resemblance (both Rain Bazaar Press).
Bedford’s publisher Lacuna Publishing writes:
‘It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ian Bedford on Tuesday, 10 March 2015.
‘It was our pleasure and privilege to publish Ian’s fourth novel, The Last Candles of the Night, in 2014.
‘Ian will be greatly missed.’
