Campaign launched to find world’s favourite Agatha Christie book

In the UK, the estate of Agatha Christie has launched a campaign to find the world’s favourite Agatha Christie book to coincide with the author’s 125th birthday, reports the Guardian. Readers can vote for their favourite title from more than 80 books via the website ‘World’s Favourite Christie’. Twenty-five books have also been shortlisted ‘with the help of celebrities and fans’, including crime novelist Val McDermid, whose favourite novel is The Murder at the Vicarage, and Hercule Poirot actor David Suchet, who has voted for The ABC Murders. Voting runs from 27 April till 31 May and the winning title will be announced in September.
