Scholastic will move its Adelaide-based children’s book imprint Omnibus to its Sydney office over the next eight months.
A Scholastic spokesperson would not say why the imprint was being moved but said the imprint ‘will be continuing with a similar number of high quality picture books and children’s fiction’.
Omnibus publisher Dyan Blacklock will leave Scholastic on 19 May. ‘Dyan has worked for Scholastic for 18 years and in that time has published many award-winning titles,’ said the spokesperson. ‘We are grateful for her service and contribution to the Omnibus Books imprint and we wish her well in her future endeavours.’
