Snowprint to open second bookshop at Perisher Ski Resort

Snowprint Bookshop in NSW’s Snowy Mountains will open a second bookshop at the nearby Perisher Ski Resort over the winter.

The bookshop, which opens on Saturday, will be located in the shopping arcade at Perisher’s Smiggins Hotel.

Co-owner Tanya West told Books+Publishing that the store will stock a range of fiction, nonfiction and children’s books, with the latter expected to sell well at the ‘family-friendly’ Smiggens Hotel.

West said she had been hoping to open a store at the ski resort for some time, but had found that shop vacancies were rare.

‘I think we’ll be the highest bookshop in Australia,’ said West.
