ASA Writers’ Congress speakers announced

The Australian Society of Authors (ASA) has announced some of the speakers for its National Writers’ Congress, to be held on 11-12 September at Luna Park Conference Centre in Sydney.

US author Scott Turow and Helen Garner will give the keynote speeches. Also participating in the congress are Michael Mohammed Ahmad, Anne Summers, John Marsden, Jackie French, Bronwyn Bancroft, Jill Eddington, Alice Grundy, Pamela Freeman, Kerry Goldsworthy and Ben Eltham, among others.

The congress will cover writing, publishing and income generation for online and print, and discuss ‘the latest ideas on authors’ rights, role and place in a time of constant change’.
