Transworld partners with the ‘Sun’ for ‘Jack Reacher’ week

In the UK, Transworld has partnered with the Sun newspaper to promote Lee Child’s ‘Jack Reacher’ series, reports the Bookseller. The first Jack Reacher Week campaign will run in the newspaper’s online and print editions from 6-11 July, and will include an interview with the author, reviews of the ‘Jack Reacher’ back catalogue, sample pages from the first book in the series Killing Floor, and prize offers, such as holidays to US cities featured in the series. Readers signed up for the newspaper’s membership scheme will also have the opportunity to meet Childs during his UK tour later this year. Transworld marketing director Janine Giovanni said the publisher was ‘excited about the opportunity of reaching [the Sun’s] daily readers’. ‘[W]e are constantly looking for ways to reach new audiences,’ said Giovanni.
