Australians among 2015 World Fantasy Awards finalists

Australian authors and publishers are among those nominated for the 2015 World Fantasy Awards, for works published in 2014.

Kaaron Warren is a finalist in the short fiction category for ‘Death’s Door Café’, which appeared in Shadows & Tall Trees 2014 (ed by Michael Kelly, ChiZine Publications). Finalists in the best collection category include Angela Slatter for The Bitterwood Bible and Other Recountings (Tartarus Press) and Janeen Webb for Death at the Blue Elephant (Ticonderoga).

The World Fantasy Awards are presented annually at the World Fantasy Convention, which will be held from 5-8 November in Saratoga Springs in New York this year. Finalists on the awards ballot are chosen by judges and members of the three most recent conventions.
