Eye of the Storm festival details announced

The dates and some of the participating writers for the biennial Eye of the Storm festival in Alice Springs have been announced.

The festival, which is run by the Northern Territory Writers’ Centre, will be held at the Olive Pink Botanic Garden from 17-20 September, after being postponed from its original date of the Anzac Day long weekend in April.

More than 40 writers and storytellers will appear at the festival, which carries the theme ‘Finding home’. They include Sudanese singer-songwriter and storyteller Ajak Kwai, Ellen van Neerven, Jessie Cole, Candy Royalle and Joshua Santospirito.

The full program will be announced later this month. For more information, visit the festival website here.
