Walker Books announces partnership with Old Barn Books

Walker Books has announced a partnership with new UK publisher Old Barn Books, which will include Australian and New Zealand distribution of Old Barn Books’ children’s and gift book titles.

Old Barn Books was founded in March by author and illustrator David Ellwand and former Templar Publishing sales and marketing director Ruth Huddleston. The publisher will release seven titles in 2015 with a focus on pre-school, picture books and illustrated gift and novelty titles. Books for older children and adults will also be considered.

Walker Books president Angela Van Den Belt said the Old Barn list ‘will make a great contribution and complement our own list here in Australia and New Zealand’. The first titles to be distributed in Australia include the Alice in Wonderland Board Book (illus by Alison Jay, October) and Dog on a Train (Kate Prendergast, February 2016).
