LearningField re-signs OUP, CUP, Pearson

The Copyright Agency has re-signed Oxford University Press, Cambridge University Press and Pearson to its etextbook subscription service LearningField for a further three years.

The three publishers join a number of other publishers offering ongoing support to the service, including Cengage, Macmillan, and Insight. More than 50 schools have subscribed to LearningField since it launched two years ago, and the service now offers over 7000 book chapters to students in years seven to 12.

LearningField director Ben Heuston said the service aims to improve access to digital textbooks and to aid personalised student learning. ‘We’re continually evolving LearningField as a platform for all publishers and have also just signed agreements with the Australian Association for the Teaching of English and Impact Publishing,’ said Heuston.
