Collins, Rawson and Ward win 2015 ‘Seizure’ Viva La Novella competition

The three winning novellas in the 2015 Seizure Viva La Novella competition have been announced.

The End of Seeing by Christy Collins, Formaldehyde by Jane Rawson and Welcome to Orphancorp by Marlee Jane Ward were chosen from a shortlist of six. The novellas will be published in print and digital formats and the authors receive $1,000 each.

As previously reported by Books+Publishing, the three editors chosen to edit a novella each were Marisa Wikramanayake, Nicola Redhouse and Zoya Patel.

The winners were announced on 21 August at the Melbourne Writers Festival. The Viva La Novella project launched in 2013 with the publication of Midnight Blue and Endlessly Tall by Jane Jervis-Read.
