‘Tomorrow, When the War Began’ TV adaptation cast announced

The cast has been announced for the TV adaption of John Marsden’s ‘Tomorrow, When the War Began’ series, with shooting to begin in and around Melbourne on 16 September.

The cast includes Molly Daniels (You’re Skitting Me, The Librarians) as Ellie, Jon Prasida (Hiding) as Lee, Narek Arman (Packed to the Rafters, Dance Academy) as Homer, Madeleine Madden (The Code, Redfern Now) as Corrie, Fantine Banulski (Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries, You’re Skitting Me) as Robyn, Keith Purcell (Neighbours) as Chris, and screen debutants Madeleine Clunies-Ross as Fi and Andrew Creer as Kevin.

As previously reported by Books+Publishing, the six one-hour episode series is produced by Ambience entertainment. It will be broadcast on ABC3 in 2016.
