Business Book of the Year 2015 shortlist announced

In the UK, the shortlist for this year’s £30,000 (A$65,080) Business Book of the Year Award has been announced, reports the Bookseller. The shortlisted titles are: The Rise of the Robots: Technology and the Threat of Mass Unemployment (Martin Ford, Oneworld), Unfinished Business: Women Men Work Family (Anne-Marie Slaughter, Oneworld), How Music Got Free: The End of an Industry, the Turn of the Century, and the Patient Zero of Piracy (Stephen Witt, Bodley Head), Losing the Signal: The Untold Story behind the Extraordinary Rise and Spectacular Fall of Blackberry (Jacquie McNish & Sean Silcoff, Flatiron Books), Digital Gold: The Untold Story of Bitcoin (Nathaniel Popper, Allen Lane) and Misbehaving: The Making of Behavioural Economics (Richard Thaler, W W Norton). The winner will be announced at a ceremony in New York on 17 November.
